Stretch and Bobbito: Unreleased Method Man & Ghostface Killah Freestyles, and new EP coming

There’s a number of things to unwind, here.

Yesterday marked the world premiere of Stretch and Bobbito Radio on Apple’s new expanded streaming platform called the Apple Hits channel. This Sunday the NYC radio legends will be celebrating their 30th anniversary of their iconic radio program, The Stretch Armstrong & Bobbito Show (89tek9).

Also on Sunday, they will be streaming free their film, Stretch and Bobbito: Radio That Changed Lives on the app for the whole day from midnight to midnight (EST). They will be holding a Q&A for a limited number of fans later Sunday night.

Ahead of the show, the legends along with Warner Music Group let loose an unheard Method Man / Ghostface Killah freestyle that was remastered by the M19S Band.

“The Method Man and Ghostface freestyle was bananas for me because it’s one of the few moments from our show that was not only recorded on audio but also filmed, and the world got to see Ghostface reading his Composition notebook in front of the mic while rhyming his unreleased verse,” Bobbito tells HipHopDX. “All magical, captured in our documentary Stretch and Bobbito: Radio That Changed Lives and now remixed with music from our M19s Band that’s been looped by Stretch. It’s just TOO good if you a real head!”

They have also dropped their first EP, which you can check out below.  They’ve reworked all the tracks you see down below.
